Badassana | Yoga & Movement Lab

Hey baddie! Welcome to the Yoga & Movement Lab.

I'm Staci.

And I'm STOKED for you to join me on this journey!

Before we dive into the world of yoga and athletic performance together, I’d like to introduce myself a bit.

I'm from a small mountain town in Northern California and currently call the Tahoe/Truckee area home, where I indulge in my love for exploration, adventure, and creation. Movement, in all its forms, has been my passion since forever. From a competitive dance team in high school to studying dance extensively in college, my journey naturally led me to discover the transformative power of yoga.

Embarking on a consistent yoga practice has had a profound impact on my entire life. Not only did it make me a more composed and stress-free person, but it elevated my skills in various aspects. My confidence soared, coordination improved, and my enthusiasm for trying new things reached new heights!

In 2009, I earned my associate's degree in dance in Costa Mesa, CA. I deepened my yoga knowledge with a 200-hour Yoga Alliance teacher training in 2016 in Truckee, CA, focusing on Bhakti yoga. In 2019, I pursued a 300-hour Yoga Alliance teacher training in Rishikesh, India, specializing in Holistic Yoga Therapy. Along the way, I've completed Reiki trainings, studied process coaching, took TRX Suspension and  RIPPED courses, and even delved into Thai massage.

For almost 18 years now, I've been teaching various movement forms, sharing my passion for these practices. And what an incredible adventure it has been!

Yoga is like a slow-motion dance. So you will see elements of dance blended into my sequences. You will see elements of yoga blended into my choreography. I hope you can feel my love for this movement every time I lead you.

Movement is medicine. It moves and removes stuck energy. It clears the mind. It lifts the soul. Ever feeling too serious about life?… move your body! Dance it out. Flow it out. Work it out. However you do it, just move it. And feel the freedom it brings.

That’s what I hope to bring to you in my class. Whatever it is I’m teaching . . . yoga, dance, TRX, cardio, or strength training, I hope it brings you exactly what your soul needs. I hope it brings you . . . home.

When I’m not on the yoga mat, you can find me cruising through the trees on a powder day, enjoying some waves in the ocean, maneuvering down a mountainside on my mountain bike, floating on any type of body of water, or taking a hike to anywhere with an amazing view.

Whatever brought you here today, welcome home. Thank you for joining me on this journey.

Om, Om, Om

All my love,

Staci
